John,
If it has Servos it won't go for less than 1000 pounds. It probably
has steppers and you can build your own stepper system for about 1200
to 2000 U.S. dollars.
There is a guy in the UK on this list who is a re-seller for Ahha
control sytems. That is who you want to talk to. I don't have his
name in front of me.

The series 1 weighs much less than the series 2. Actually right
around half as heavy. Around 2500 to 3000 lbs. You should be able
to move a Series 1 by taking it apart. A rented trailer is your best
bet, if you can do that. You can rig an overhead or get someone to
place it on the trailer for a few bucks (pounds).

Yes you can roll the machine around on steel pipes just like the
Egyptians did. They would have used steel pipes if they had them.

I paid about 2000 U.S. for my series 1. I probably could have gotten
it alot cheaper if I had shopped around, but I love it and it has
paid for itself many times over in only eight months.

Another bit of trivia, I got 20 bucks from the metal recycler for 1
1/2 tons of cast iron.
