Shabbir I have used Kerosene for year in EDM work and never hand a
problem. Most of the Ram type fluids, except for the synthetic fluids,
are basically Kerosene with some additives. Kerosene was used for year
in the U.S. and to a very large extent still used in South America
today. It is low cost and readily available in most parts of the world.
I know this is in direct opposition to other comments on this list. It
works and with a little care can be used in your application. If in
question keep a fire extinguisher close at hand and know where the off
switch is on the power supply.
