Let's not CONFUSE folks! A "Driver" in this sense is a machine-code program
that "drives" the printer to make the desired characters, etc., when the po'
dum' computer "tells" it to print something.

A driver in the sense of a STEPPER-MOTOR is a CIRCUIT which "drives current"
into the coils of the stepper, and switches which coil has which polarity,
when, etc., when "told to do so" by whatever controller, often a computer,
frequently VIA the printer-port, though that printer-port is then not
necessarily being USED as a "printer" port!!!

These seemingly-contrary components can challenge a non-hardware type!
