Hi Wayland,

I looked at my 1984 data sheets for the HEDS-6000, and it just calls
them a high resolution digital shaft encoder. It is of modular design,
and you choose the proper encoder wheel for diameter and resolution.
The QEDS, I think, is just a lower cost, updated version of a shaft
encoder. I looked for probably 1/2 hour, didn't find any nmenonics for
these parts!
