Hi Al,
I run the CAD/CAM version, so I generally generate Gcode with Vector. I
have been converting miscellaneous DXF files with ACE, but lately I have
been having problems with DXF's. Looks like some of those were "file
exchange" problems, but I don't think ACE will handle them all. I am
investigating further.
We have source for ACE now, and I think I now have the appropriate
compiler, so perhaps some additions can be made. Yeager's ACE is
CERTAINLY more complete then the one I wrote to handle a few of my DXF
files from OrCad (yes, that's a schematic program. In my pre-Vector
period)!
I'll be trying more experiments. Gave seen the DXF spec? Ouch!
