Art,

Housecall's site is great, that's how I found out I had a virus that
McAfee was blind to. Only problem with your approach is you have no real
time protection.
I installed the latest Norton AV and update the definition file every
friday.
It's caught several viruses attached to emails. I also like the fact
that it can be set to scan the A: drive at shutdown, which found the NYB
virus on a disk just last week and saving me from infecting the HD
during the reboot.
I would not touch McAfee again. I am impressed with Norton so far.
