It will usually just "chip off" if you nudge it with a tool such as a
screwdriver-tip. Failing that, a bit of "sanding" with a bit of emery-cloth
or a lady's "emery board" or even one of the new carbide-grit
fingernail-files!

Certainly no need to use a "power tool" like a Dremel! If the terminal had
been properly TINNED before dipping in "varnish", then if you can get only a
"spot" of it bare, it should solder OK, "floating off" the goop!
