Gecko pricing vs. distributor pricing

I haven't looked at any Gecko distributor sites, but I recall (unless Mariss
stated otherwise) that he was lettign people on the list buy single piece
drives at the 10000 quantity price, and I thought it was for a limited time,
but he seems like he has been extremely flexible with the time limits.

So he's doing list members a favor. The distributors are trying to sell
volume quantities so Mariss & his crew can eat.

I guess since the email on the list is, well, necessarily restricted to the
list (!) [if that didn't make any sense, ignore it..it was dry (dried up and
blew away) humor], then it doesn't matter that people get referred direct to
Mariss.

The comment that the distributor is questionable may be true, or it may be
unfair...he's part of Mariss' distribution network, and sells them at
suggested retail.

I guess Mariss can tell if there is a problem with how his product line is
being represented and distributed.
