Well... As has been the case since I first became able to assemble words
into meaningful, if often totally-incorrect sentences, I have again
demonstrated that my Foot-in-Mouth disease is permanent. I have dutifully
printed your amazingly-long letter of SM-explanation, and will do what I can
to absorb the new knowledge therein at a more opportune time. I say
"amazing", as it is sadly few productive engineers/firm-owner/operators who
would BOTHER with an ignoramous like me!

I have, to date, done no more than unpack and examine the two 210's I have
had, now, for weeks. But I hope to soon install those in a home-brew
plotter, replacing the extant unipolar SM's and drives, to evaluate plans to
build an all-new/better plotter for a "CNC customer" in Ohio. I rather
expect the result to be excellent, if anything like the
SMT-technology/workmanship of the 210's!
