Go immediately to the Gecko site and get to the technical library
(http://www.geckodrive.com/support/pdf/) then read the whole Step Motor
Basics White Paper. It will tell you everything you need to know about
connecting an 8 wire motor and the pros and cons of each method along with
lots of other info that you need to know.
