I've got a similar one laying on the bench now. I'm spinning it with my
RadioShack adjustable power supply. At 30 volts it draws about 0.5 amp so
it is not exactly a workhorse.

The cable pulley here looks like it is pressed on and should come off with
a small bearing puller. This one does not have the three holes.
