Hi Ray,
I'll bet if you put a load on the motor, it'll draw a little more
current! I recall trying a little H-bridge package on a robot, it
started to run the motors with 48V and my PWM drive, but they quickly
blew when I "cranked it up"! Went back to a pair of some LARGE discrete
H-bridge boards. That was a while ago. That robot base with a pair of
these motors was big enough to move dad around on the driveway quite
fast!
Getting the proper puller is tough for us software types! I cut the
first pulley off with a hacksaw!
The three holes are on the "new" motors I purchased, an aluminum
pulley. I'm guessing for a tape drive. I may try to "make" a puller to
pull these off.
