Circuits needed

Can anyone point me to a circuit which will take step and direction
and convert it to clock up and clock down for a stepper drive which
has 2 clock inputs instead of a step and dir input. I know its out
there, but I cant find it.

The second circuit is a little more difficult, has anyone seen a
circuit that can take the stepper phase outputs from a processor and
convert it to step and direction.
