Brilliant stuff. Thanks for the help. I will read through it again in a
minute to be sure I've understood it all. Now all I need is to find the
price of this VFD and I'm ready to revoice my case. Why is it the VFD is the
way to go? I suggested a static phase converter at first. Why do I need a
fancy button to change the speeds when there is a leaver to do it the belt
way? If a VFD is going to be twice as much as a static converter it better
do more than change the speed and direction of rotation. What happens to the
resonators out of those laser cutting tables? I know one particular 17 year
old who'd love to have them if they're free! [grins]
