Perplexing problem with EMC BDI

I have the following problem with EMC, the BDI version. The scenario
is this, system up and running, estop off, machine on, all axis homed
and set to 0.0000. Enter the command g0 x0 and the X axis will move
to -0.0077. If you enter the command g0 x1 the X axis will move to
0.9923, g0 x2 will get you 1.9923 of movement. Entering the command
g0 x0 will send the X axis to -0.0077. Go to manual mode, home the
axis to 0 and repeat the above commands with the same results. It
also happens if you use g1 instead of g0. This does NOT happen on
any other axis. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
