It seems to me that it's possible to modify the tcl to put each point into one of the parameters so the program could use them.

Maybe when I get my parallel port boxes and hook up some switches I'll look at this.

I need to understand the Set-Coordinates tcl a bit more. What in that tcl limits the number of parameters that can be used to 6?

I believe that someone on this list was talking about using the probe on a multi axis grinder. Anyone know how they made out?

The EMC (www.linuxcnc.org) is set up for some probing operations but you
would have to write or get someone to write a grid routine to give you the
rough shape or at least where to start probing from. This probe feature
is a trip/reset rather than a continuous collection of points.
