I'm working on such a thing at this time,
but what I'm doing ( attempting to do ) is read
a encoder form the lead screw to measure distance traveled
and compare that to where it should be
using a pic16F84 on the step line for the axis.
if it gets xx distance out it will trip my limit switch.
a that point I rehome and pick back up at the line of g-code
where it left off.
not working real good at the time probably the old
mouse parts I'm using as the encoder from the lead screw.
