Karl,
I'm currently running a factory Mitek 2 axis CNC Knee mill
(bridgeport copy) with Fagor control. 10 x 52 table, 3 HP VS 3 phase
motor. It is using the following servo motor on the X axis. The
motor is reduced 2:1 to the end of the X-axis. The table travel
speed is a lot greater than I care to have things flying around.
Info
is from the factory label plate.

Glentec Permanent magnet DC servo motor
Model: GM4020-39-02202511-081
Torque in/oz: 368
Current Amps: 6.7
Resistance ohms: 1.3
Ind mh: 7.4
BEMF-V/1000RPM: 39
Max RPM: 3500
Tac-V/1000rpm: 7
JA-LB-in-sec(Squared): 0.0092

Hope this helps.
