  I've used both of these items mentioned.
The AWO pin on the junction board axis connector connects to the
enable pin on the respective drive.
A spst switch connects across the 2 pin AWO pinout (adjacent to the A
axis connector) on the junction board. Closing this switch grounds
the 5V signal to the enable pins on all drives at the same time,
removing the holding current and 'unlocking' the motors.
