If the Fanuc is still working, stick with it. Whilst EMC will control the XYZ
axis, adding the extra code to handle the tool changer and pallet shuttle is
quite a pain. Some of the basic code is already in EMC for the tool changer,
and it wouldn't be too difficult to add the additional instructions to handle
the pallet shuttle. It is the PLC control and getting the whole thing to work
that would be the major challenge.
