Yes, practically all video cards will run correctly with the VGA16 server, but
you're stuck with 640 x 480, which will not allow Tim's script to work, and is
also too small to see all of the EMC display window. The SVGA server supports
a very large range of cards (look at one of the X config files that tells what
server to use with which card, and you'll see the SVGA server appears MANY
times as either the most recommended driver for a specific card, or as an
acceptable one for most standard modes. This doesn't set all the parameters,
however, as the XF86Config file will be different for many of them, due to
clock chip and ramdac specific things that vary even among nearly identical
cards.
