I thought you might get a "kick" out of a discharge
circuit provided by a series string of christmas
lights. Yes, christmas lights.

Oh, the current of those yellow optima's is
about 1400 amps. Yes, I have a very healthy
respect for them. Yes, it did get bitten
by the battery once.
