I am extremely happy with my 3-axis 2A bipolar chopper driver kit from
Camtronics and the 160 oz-in bipolar stepper motors also purchased from
camtronics. I am using them on a new converted Sherline mill. If you have
any questions do not hesitate to ask me and I will help you. The driver kit
is $150 and the motors are $85 ea. The kit takes about 4-5 hours to
assemble, and I knew nothing about soldering electronics.
