One step better, it is acceptable to post about items you have for sale on
this list. The restrictions are:
1 - It be something that is appropriate for the group.
2 - Don't post a full catalog. It is OK to describe what you have, just keep
it concise and you can list prices also.
3 - The actual deal should be conducted off list. If there are a lot of
question that would benefit many if you filled in some details on the list
are OK to reply to the list.

I think it depends upon how you receive the group. I get them as individual
e-mails and my replies default to plain text. In that format I get the
posters e-mail in the top of the reply and can cut and paste the posters
address in place of the list address.
