Here's the best place I know of for an LCD hacker's hangout.

Get the part number of your display and someone there may have some info on
it.

You can also do a search on the web for the part number. A lot of LCD
companies
have their datasheets online.

It isn't trivial to build a VGA to LCD interface but it's doable. It is
better to just use a
plug in interface card to output the digital signals to the LCD. But you'll
need the data
on your LCD to match a card to it.
