Machining question. Maybe OT

I was recently at the home page for Deskam http://www.deskam.com/

On the right side of the page, there seems to be what is a small engine and
cylinder casing, machined from one piece.

As I have never created anything this complex from one piece, maybe one of
the pros here can give me an idea of how many different operations would be
involved.

How many times would such an item have to be repositioned to machine?
