Not on my servo system. I use a variety or G code interpreters to run my
servo amps. The programs will stop a servo motor if the encoder cable
was connected but once you loose that connection the motors take off
running.
I am not aware of a single program that will stop the machine once a
encoder cable comes loose unless there is some other external add on
circuitry added
