Hey Chris,
My friend has a Ryobi that is made by Dremel or is
Dremel made by Ryobi. He keep telling me his motor tool was better.
I think some people are calling something else a Dremel. The
MultiPro model is very beafy compared to older models. My father
used to curse Dremel tools. I could not understand why until one
day I cought him using mine. He had a large grinding bit in the
machine and he was grinding a lawn mower blade. I find they work
great if you stick to bits 1/8" diameter or less. I have see lots
of people mount then on their CNC machine so they can do engraving.
People who are GAFFERS don't like the tool. They work great for
grinding dies and small cutters. I use my Dremel drill press all the
time. I guess you either like them or not!
