If you are talking about the Grizzly G8689 mini-mill, I also thought
about buying one as they seem to be cheap. Also was interested in
CNCing it. But, it was proved to be too flimsy to do much and I
passed. At least one of these was CNCed and the effort was done
well, but still disappointed.

I suggest you check the FAQ and archives. CNCing this mini-mill
comes up about every 6 months so there should be all the info one
would need to do the job in the FAQ. Dan Mauch can provide
everything you would need, motors, driver board, software, etc.
