Cutting Rates- Don't know yet. I am shooting for surface finish as a
primary objective. Speed is essentially irrelevant to me.

Feed Method - I am using a Taig mini mill with Nema 23 steppers to
control each axis. Gecko drives for the steppers. The only part of
the Taig that needs computer control is, of course, the Z axis.

As for the actual controller, I am using a Cyngal 8051 development
board to control the steppers, measure current etc..

Flushing is done by a Rio powerhead pump. I attach Locline hose to
it and use one of their nozzles to flatten the output stream into the
area I need it.
