That's interesting to here here. The local college has one installed on a
machine and we've used it for roughing out rectangular holes in rifle
actions. The final hole is broached to size.

In case any one is interested, Bridgeport also made an attachment called a
cherry head (at least that's what a buddy of mine in Kansas who has one
calls it). This head also mounts on the rear tang and what it does is mills
circular slots (size is adjustable) in a vertical plane.

That would be real really neat attachment to find someplace.
