TurboCNC verses DeskNC? plus DeskNC setup question

I currently have TurboCNC setup to run my Gecko's for my mill.
I'd like to test DeskNC as well since I'd like some of his other
software (DeskKam and DeskArt) in the furture.

Has anyone had experiance with these software choices? For all
intents and purposes would TurboCNC run just fine using DeskCam for
the DXF to G converting.

To setup the DeskNC to run the Geckos thru the Printer port, how do I
set up the wiring from the db25 board to the Geckos for step/dir?
