Actually Win 95 SR2 release was the first with USB support. That CD-ROM has
"with USB support" printed on the front. Win 95 SR3 sometimes known as Win
95C and all later versions of Windows have USB support.

All Win 98 and ME versions support USB .

Before you plug the USB device in to the computer check the Device Manager
screen in Start > Settings > Control Panel > System and second tab.

If you have any yellow ! marks or red Xs you need to resolve these before
you try to install USB devices.
