Randy -
I've been searching the net for modern "lunchboxes", and as Jon
said, it seems they are generally pretty expensive to buy new.
They seem to be mostly catering towards the "industrial" market.
OTOH, what about PC's like your I-opener? I heard it requires
hacking, and do you end up with a PCI slot? I recall seeing some
ads recently for an integrated LCD & PC for desktops, like the
I-opener. Dell? Hitachi? It only makes sense now that LCD
prices have really come down. There oughtta be an entry-level
system with minimum PIII, 800Mhz, 64 meg, 15"TFT LCD, CD-rom, 18Gb
HDD, FDD, and Ethernet, for something like $1199. Has anyone come
across something like this?

As someone else said, they are on eBay most of the time. If you
find one,
I think you can be confident you can upgrade it. OTOH, if you
might be
interested in mine email me offlist.
