Yahoo adds the advertisements on to postings to pay for our using there
system. In the past we took up a collection, while we were still under
OneList, and paid to have the advertisements not added on. After Yahoo
bought them out, this feature was no longer available.
However I am not receiving any advertisements on the posts I have been
receiving, and I don't know why, but I am not going to rock the boat and ask
Yahoo why. If they are there we just live with them, if they are not , "be
happy".
