I'm not a novice, I just don't know what I'm doing. : )
I do really appreciate all the input on how to automate the Z axis on
a HF drill press.
I have a couple steppers and some timing belts from an old copier I
scaveneged for parts.
I'm wondering if anybody can help cross refernece a timing belt.
I have a BANDO 180XL 037G, 3/8" wide, 5 cogs per inch.
I'm hoping that will work on the spindle for drilling.
Bando's home site has no references.
Also, if this is not a good choice, where is a supplier of these
types of parts for simple making CNC machines, home engravers etc.
TIA
Dave
