Who says you need to model in solid to get CAM? It just the serface
representation that matters anyway. Besides rhino rules for modeling and
i'm experienced in a dozen others. Also I persosnally like the sepeartion
of the CAD from the CAM, it allows far more flexibility and power at the
sacrifice of a compatible file format and a few extra seconds of switching
between the two programs, in my expereince it's worth it. I'll take a look
at prodesk, but i'm sure it doesn't suit my likes.
