For some the problem seems to be a registry setting that causes a blue
screen of death whenever code tries to modify certain sections of memory. My
registry Read only setting is turned off, so I didn't notice. If you get a
blue screen of death with Code 0x000000be, then thats the cause. The new
timer is a self modifying code that builds an operating system extension
into XP when it boots up, and runs beside XP as a pulse engine. It needs
work, but shows gret promise. I will release a new test in a couple weeks or
so.

Thanks to everyone who responded. It will help the final product be more
robust. Getting Windows to do 50,000 pulses wth low latency is quite a
trick, but seems do-able.
