yes, fastcad COULD simply translate the FILE, but the script translated the
CONTENTS. layers had not been used, only colors, so the script took the
colors and translated them into the correct layers. also text came across
scrambled (starting to think ACAD just doesn't do text well, it's ALWAYS
scrabled when i try to bring it across to another program) can you say
MONOPOLY? all in all, i liked fastcad, but am stuck with ACAD here...
sigh... at home i use QCAD extlusevly (but spelled right) it's got some
very nice features, and i LOVE the selection process (once i got used to it)
once i memorize the keyboard shortcuts i should be faster then acad...
