The question I have is what is the best way to connect the tachometers to the leadscrew? I don't know where to find an appropriate pulley that has such a small hole for the shaft. Clearly the tachometer does not have any torque on it, and that means (I think) a fairly simple connection method should work.... maybe even one of those rubber band type belts? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Furthermore, if you have source information that is even better.

Herbach & Rademan ( http://www.herbach.com/ ), but I can't say they have
any more. It was a small Escap motor. The shaft is likely to be 3 mm, a bit
shy of 1/8 ". I used metal sprockets from WM Berg, and one of their mini
steel-cable molded belts. The sprockets are Part # 32D3-40, the belts were
33GBF-80 (although you might need a different length).
