This problem is definitely video related. I had the same problem and did
some research and found a solution:
When you open the program, the very first thing you need to do is to click
on Tools->Options. Turn on the option for "Disable graphics harware
acceleration" (second from the bottom) on click OK.
You shouldn't have any more problems. Mine now works fine.
