Sorry to reply so late - my wife was having a baby boy.
I don't have a very good grasp on this yet - still learning. The credit
goes to the manual that came with my Taig CNC mill. Within the manual there
were a few charts and equations that I put into a more user friendly format.
I decided this was necessary after cutting some real ugly aluminum at a feed
rate of 2-3 IPM. I was afraid to cut fast and deep. Now at least with this
as a guide, I can cut "purtier".
