Hmm, it would be nifty if Mariss's project could have ethernet added
onto it eventually - I had been thinking USB, but ethernet is easier
to support in some ways when writing front-end software on a variety
of host operating systems simply because it has been around so much
longer.
Of course there is the risk of someone cracking your firewall and
taking over your machine - I don't want to find 'all your gcodes
are belong to us' engraved on my mill table one morning.
On the other hand, it would be really cool to have a web interface to
a cnc machine tool for demonstration purposes! With a webcam of course
so you get the full emotional benefit of realizing you just drilled
a hole in someone's brand new kurt vise...
