GROUP DESCRIPTION This has been changed_____________________
This list is for discussion of CAD_CAM(CNC)_EDM_DRO. This list is aimed at
the construction and use of this equipment in a Home Shop Machinist
environment. It is not moderated normally, but can be. I would hope that the
discussion will consist of Links, sources, progress reports, challenges,
innovative solutions, and things of this nature, on the above subjects.
It not aimed at the commercial professional systems, and there users in a
commercial setting.
This list is a direct result of the discussions on the above subject at
NAMES, 1999.
Arguments, OT topics, Flaming and Piracy not allowed. Banning will result.

The list description has slightly changed please read it and note the
differences

Moderated postings will be handled as follows.
1. All new members will be moderated until I have read a post or two from
them, then they will be unmoderated. This will stop Spam from people that
sign up for that single purpose. Those spammers will also be banned as in
the past.

Now lately, we have had bunch of arguing about things by members, not
complying with my requests. OT posts that I have requested being dropped,
resulting a bunch of arguments on list, when I have requested that they be
dropped.
2. In the future, I will write that person an email, requesting there help.
If they insist on continuing, they will be placed in a moderated status, and
I will read there posts, when I have time, and delete any that I see fit to.
The only way to get off that status is to change YOUR ways, and contact me
off list. Changing your status will be my decision. Repeats of the same
behavior can result in being banned.
PLEASE LEAVE YOUR EGOS OFF THIS LIST. IF YOU ARE GOOD, WE ALL KNOW IT.
3. OT Subjects, sometimes I will request that they be dropped or taken off
list. Please comply, or you will come under the moderated procedure,
outlined in #2
If you disagree with me stopping a thread, CONTACT ME, NOT THE LIST. If you
do have a good argument, and others also write me, I will put up a quick
poll, and base my decision on that and the lists topics.
I am open to changes but they must be done without wars on the list.
However the list is not going to become a professional shop list, or a wide
open list. Not now, Not ever.
If anyone has problems with the above, contact me off list, and complain. I
will answer all posts as soon as possible, or a general letter to all on list
if I am overwhelmed. But no arguments on the list, because this procedure is
in place with this posting.
Flaming or Piracy (offers or requests), will get one warning only, then that
person will be banned.
BE PART OF THE SOLUTION NOT PART OF THE PROBLEM..............
