EDM Question

Hello,

I have just finished reading the book "Build an EDM", by Robert Langlois.
The book is based on a number of magazine articles, and it looks like the
EDM machine evolved over time. Part 6 of the book, called "other odds and
ends" suggests a couple of improvements over the original design.

Now my question: For those familiar with this book/machine, were there any
other modification for this machine beyond those made in chapter 6. This
book has been out of print for some time now; and I suspect there must be
some people that have continued to improve the design.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have also been poking around the archives to get any other information on
EDM equipment. The archives are huge, and searching for the keyword EDM
returns everything. Can anyone point me towards EDM information in the
archives via date or message ID
