Series II alive finally!

Hi all, thought I'd share my experiments:

Finally, I've had some time to stop procrastinating and wire up my
SerieII for testing with G210's. With the power supply set at 70vdc,
with the G210 set at max 7amps. The G210's are mounted on some
massive heatsinks from a Millermatic welder repair house that I
lucked into. I had to manually mill the G210 footprints into them.
The X and Y steppers are fine and I got really good speeds. Its
really cool to see this large table flying along. BadNews: The Z
stepper is TOAST! Looks like it is majorly demagnetized in that it
acts like there only has a single coil, so it has trouble figuring
out which way to go. The coils ohm-out ok with the center tap of
each being 1/2 the ohms than that of the leg-to-leg ohms. And all
ohms/leg are nearly the same. Oh well, looks like I'll go the servo
route on the Z for starters, then switch all over later.

Great Drives Mariss! They ran cool( thermally and Karma-wise :-) )
the whole time!! I'll be ordering again soon.
