Tony - sorry I hit your hot button yesterday. I'm trying to get the data and maintenance improved, not offend the group participants. My style is to poke at people to motivate them and get them to think. I am not trying to start an argument, but rather trying to get people to make suggestions. If you don't like my suggestions, please contribute some of your own, rather than just rejecting mine.

Ballendo - I think it's a good thing that you would use the list resources to add better content to your book. Don't stop, even if some think it's unprofessional of me to suggest it. Are you ever going to reveal your real identity? Ballendo=Nom de plume?

Group except Tony- (especially newbe's to cnc conversions and home shop applications) how would YOU like to see the Data? What are the price points that would help you make a decision as to which programs to research and investigate. Does it help you if the Cad, Cam, Controllers and utilities are split up so you can tell what is what? Are you happy with the information selection that is now available? ( There are probably at least 10-15 more controller programs that are not listed, many, many more cad and cam). The list is 2 pages with just 21 items. Imagine if there were 200-300 programs listed, which is probably a minimum of what to expect.

Reply to me off list if you are a lurker and don't want to show yourself. As usual I will filter everything that I receive to put it in the most favorable light to me (just kidding).
