I forgot to mention the Z backlash - it's not bad at .004, less than
I thought initially, but it's not entirely repeatable and there's a
wierd "jump" that occurrs every once in a while. This even
happend with the handle when I pulled it down. The quill will go
down a bit, then hang up for 5 thou or so, then drop to where it's
supposed to be. Obviously I've got to take things apart and see
what's going on.
