Hi All -
In my searching I came across a couple of goodies other DIY
CNC'ers may be interested in.
Jon E. pointed me to Brigar Electronics for high power solid-state
DC relays, and while I was poking around I saw they have nice
toroidal transformers for $60. Check out
http://brigarelectronics.com/ Here's the caption:
BANNER MAGNETICS - TOROIDAL POWER TRANSFORMER Multitapped 2KVA
power transformer intended for a high powered audio amplifier
power supply. Great for a +/- 60VDC application where EMI noise is
a concern. Additional 12volt @1 amp tersiary winding for powering
lamps & meters. Input: 120Vac / 240VAC 50/60Hz Output: 86 volt @
20 amp center tap, 12volt @ 1 amp Size: 5-1/2" dia. x 3-1/2"H
Weight: 16 lbs. PART # 159226
Also, Advanced Circuits has a deal on PCB's, minimum 2, at $33
each up to 10x15 inches WITH solder mask AND silkscreen, 5 day
leadtime. Check out http://www.4pcb.com/33each.html.
