Sounds like the supply I just put together. I bought the x-former
from Brian F on this list. I hope he doesn't mind, but you can
contact him at ka1bbg@.... He mentioned he had
rectifiers and appropriate caps too. Very good deal on the
x-formers, rated at 49VAC (taps for 38 and 11) at 10A.

Subject: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] Power Supply Parts
Does anyone have either a power supply (about 60V at 10A), or some
of the required parts to make one, available for sale? The most
difficult part for me to find at a reasonable cost is the
transformer (I think I need 36V-40V at 10A or more). I have read
some posts that suggest a zener diode on the output of the supply
is
a good idea to prevent additional stepper generated voltage from
exceeding the G201 specs. What size would the zener have to be? I
can guess the voltage rating, about 75 volts. But, are these
available in high wattages (do I need a high wattage)?
Thanks!
